About Our Project

We are studying the effect of different coatings on the flow of water. The coatings we are using are Hyrophylic and Hydrophobic. We decided to use a wooden stand to switch out three different rain gutters, which will be coated differently.  The water exits a bucket through a spout, and it  gains, loses or keeps its momentum. We then measured how far the flow of water launched itself out off the gutter.
